📋 Setup Instructions
To get your Google Maps API working:
- Go to Google Cloud Console
- Create a new project or select existing one
- Enable "Distance Matrix API" in APIs & Services
- Set up billing (required even for free tier)
- Create credentials → API Key
- Copy the API key and paste it above
- Check "Enable Google Maps API" checkbox
- Click "Test API Connection" to verify
- Click "Save Settings" to keep configuration
⚠️ Common Issues:
- Billing not set up → API will not work
- Distance Matrix API not enabled → Test will fail
- API key has restrictions → Remove restrictions or whitelist your domain
- Just created API key → Wait 2-3 minutes for activation
